Soft Touch Productions has been in business since 1989. Originally starting off with professional theatrical productions both at home in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area and then in other areas and states. It is the productions that has earned Soft Touch Productions its' strong reputation till this day.
In the mid 90's, Soft Touch Productions branched out into producing artists, bands and single musicians in all fields. The company was one of the first in the area to offer midi-programming for local productions and artists which they still continue to do today.
Hired to represent the Harrisburg area in certain aspects of film, including location services and production assistance, Soft Touch Productions was hired as the extras co-ordinator for the Academy award winning "Girl Interrupted", where they hired and scheduled over 650 extras. This lead to the company getting into the world of video in early 2003.
Through the years, Soft Touch Productions has continued to entertain audiences with their productions, including strong runs of the broadway shows Nunsense and Forever Plaid. A house band called "The Quitters" and a four man quartet called "Heart and Soul" have been on the road for many years working for The Company. Eventually, Soft Touch Productions spread out into the fun of karaoke and has been doing that for almost 8 years.
In late 2008, the company moved to it's new location in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania where they opened a small 24 track studio in order to help local talent, offering good production values at an inexpensive price. The building also has what is known as the Production Center, which is used for band and theatrical rehearsals, and video production for use of their green screen filming.
Soft Touch Productions also offers audio and video transfers, copies and editing along with production representation and direction, technical assistance, and equipmental rentals.
